We deliver products to driveways only, unless a signed waiver is submitted and approved prior to delivery. For any delivery off the driveway, our drivers have the final authority to determine whether it can be completed safely—no exceptions. Our delivery trucks are heavy, weighing between 15,000 and 35,000 pounds even before being loaded, and they can cause significant damage to lawns or other surfaces if they become stuck or sink. Additionally, when the dump body is raised, its lower edge gets closer to the ground, making it impossible to dump over stone walls. Low power lines also pose a serious hazard, as the raised dump body can reach heights of up to 15 feet. A minimum of 9 feet in width is required for safe dumping. If the purchaser requests an off-driveway delivery, they assume full responsibility for any resulting damage to sidewalks, sprinkler systems, septic systems, or other property, and agree to indemnify K & K Mulch and Loam and its employees from all related liability. K & K Mulch and Loam is not responsible for any property damage resulting from off-driveway deliveries, and should the truck become stuck, the purchaser is responsible for all towing costs.
